New and Veteran ESO account holders who played Morrowind will be familiar with Bal Foyen. This zone under the Ebonheart Pact is located in north-central Morrowind. Aside from the gigantic mushrooms, the swampy terrain has its fill of Guar, Netches and Argonians. This guide will show you what is there to do and see in the zone.
Places to go for ESO Account hunters
Bal Foyen is a zone in the Ebonheart Pact designed for characters level five to six on an Elder Scrolls Online account. Being a starter area, it also only has three Skyshards. The area also does not have a city, however there are three settlements in the zone. These are the Bal Foyen Dockyards to the north, the town of Dhalmora to the east and Fort Zeren to the south.
Other points of interest in the zone include the Hidden Dagger Landing Site to the northeast. There is also the Plantation Point Overlook near the town of Dhalmora. There are also Wayshrines near the settlements mentioned above. These are the Dhalmora Wayshrine south of the town, the Fort Zeren Wayshrine west of the fort and the Foyen Docks Wayshrine northwest of the docks.
Quests for ESO Account holders
Aside from hunting mobs for experience, gold and gear, TESO account holders can take on quests while in Bal Foyen. These quests include If By Sea which has players warn the watch of an incoming attack. There is also the Crossroads quest where you will choose if you are going to help protect the docks or defend the fort. Lastly, there is the Warning Davon’s Watch which will help the watch prepare against the coming Covenant assault.
Side quests to do on your ESO Account
Bal Foyen also has several quests that players can take. One of these is Finding the Family where you are tasked to locate a Guar. Meanwhile, in Salt of the Earth, you will help find missing workers. You can also help an Argonian find his friend in the Bard of Hounds side quest. Lastly, there is the Unorthodox Tactics quest where you can test a weapon that will be used against the Covenant.
