One of the first ESO account holders get when they arrive in Tamriel in Elder Scrolls Online is to find their rescuer. For members of the Aldmeri Dominion this means heading to the newbie friendly zone of Khenarthi’s Roost. Inhabited by the Khajiit and Maormer, otherwise known as Sea Elves, this zone introduces players to more of the games mechanics. This guide however will cover the interesting places on the island.

ESO Account holders first city

As a beginner zone most TESO account holders will find the content of Khenarthi’s Roost is designed for levels 4 to 6. This is also the reason why there are very few Skyshards on the island. This zone only contains six shards to help improve skill ranks.

The island also houses only one city: Mistral. This port city is inhabited by both the Khajiit and Maormer. On their first arrival Elder Scrolls Online account holders will find the place recovering from a storm that recently hit.

Farms and settlements ESO Account holders can visit

New ESO account holders can check out several settlements and farms during their stay in Khenarthi’s Roost. Cat’s Eye Quay is a small dockyard northeast of Mistral. Adventurers can also check out Eagle’s Strand. This ruined fort can be found on the southern part of the island.

While the Aldmeri Dominion is combating the spread of Skooma, enterprising players can find moonsugar in plantations throughout Khenarthi’s Roost. To the southwest of the isle is Laughing Moons Plantation, while Speckled Shell Plantation lies to the southeast. The northwest of the island is also home to the Windcatcher Plantation.

Points to explore on your ESO Account

Other points of interest on Khenarthi’s Roost include several temples and a camp. The latter, Bolga’s Hunting Camp, can be found along the northwestern beaches of the isle. To the northeast lies the small temple of Rid-Thar’s Solace. In the opposite direction, east of Shattered Shoals is the Temple of Two-Moons Dance. Meanwhile, the Temple of the Dark Moon is in the western part of the island. The Temple of the Crescent Moons is in the southern area.

Wayshrines can also be found in Khenarthi’s Roost. A Wayshrine sharing the island’s name can be found southwest of the Temple of the Crescent Moons. Near the Maormer Embassy in Mistral is the Mistral Wayshrine.
