Today’s guide will continue our discussion about the abilities in the Destruction Staff skill line in Elder Scrolls Online. The remaining skills in the line can help Elder Scrolls Online account holders gain the edge in battle through debuffs. Of course, these effects will vary depending on the type of staff your Elder Scrolls Online gold hunter carries.

Using status effects while hunting ESO gold

Farther down the Destruction Staff skill line, ESO account holders can use the Force Shock ability. While this deals very little damage, it applies a status effect on the target. The effect changes based on the element of the staff your ESO gold hunter uses. Ice based staves will apply the Chilled effect, while Fire will place Burning on the target. Shock, meanwhile, gives the target Concussion.

The ability can be morphed into Crushing Shock. This version of the skill will stun and knock off balance targets that are casting spells. The Force Pulse morph adds an AoE effect that deals damage to targets with status effects on them.

Weakening targets with your ESO gold hunter

Spells are more powerful than Elder Scrolls Online weapons. However, with the right Elder Scrolls Online armor, its strength can be reduced. The Weakness to Elements skill helps counter this. When cast, it will reduce a target’s spell resistance to the tree elements for a short period.

The ability can be turned into Elemental Susceptibility that will improve chances of placing an elemental status on the target. Elemental Drain is another morph. This will cause the skill to restore magicka if the target is attacked with one of the elements. This is useful when saving up restorative Elder Scrolls Online items.

Keeping enemies away from your ESO gold hunter

The last skill in the Destruction Staff line is Impulse. This ability allows your TESO gold hunter to deal magic damage to nearby enemies. It will also guarantee that a status effect will be placed on nearby targets. The status will depend of course on the element of the staff.

Elemental Ring is a morph of the ability that will add a damage over time effect. Another morph is Pulsar which will reduce the maximum health of enemies affected by the skill.
