Players of Elder Scrolls Online know that classes are not always restricted to what they are stereotyped for. A prime example of this is the Sorcerer that can be built as a DPS with Elder Scrolls Online weapons or as a tank. In today’s build, players can make Sorcerer tank that takes advantage of summons earning the name Daedric Master.
Minions to help dent enemy Elder Scrolls Online armor
The Daedric Master won’t be called as such if it did not have Daedric creatures to command. As such, it is critical to the build that it has summoning skills in its primary skill bar. Be sure to slot in Unstable Familiar (Unstable Clannfear) while you wield your Elder Scrolls Online weapons. The Clannfear will help you deal damage. Best of all, the morph will heal your Sorcerer when the Clannfear expires.
While hunting Elder Scrolls Online items, add the Summon Winged Twilight (Summon Restoring Twilight) skill to your primary bar. Aside from the extra damage, it will increase you and your allies’ magicka regeneration. Note that the Rebate passive will also return magicka if either of your summons die.
Tanking skills to make use of Elder Scrolls Online armor
As a tank you will need to brandish your Elder Scrolls Online weapons and get enemies to attack you instead of your party. In this Daedric Master build, you do so using the Puncture (Pierce Armor) ability. When used, it will deal damage, and taunt an enemy. The morph will also reduce the target’s armor and magic resistance.
Still on tanking skills, Inner Fire (Inner Rage) is also taken. This ensures that the target is attacking your Sorcerer. The morph also gives the ability a synergy that will cause it to deal damage over time as well as an AoE attack.
Keep calm and keep your Elder Scrolls Online armor on
Tanking also requires that your character be quite tough. Your Sorcerer can use magicka to augment this via the Lightning Form (Boundless Storm) ability. Once activated, it will increase the armor and magic resistance of your character. It also deals damage to enemies that are too close. With the morph, movement speed is also boosted.
If your Sorcerer bites off more than it can chew, then it’s time to use Summon Storm Atronach (Greater Storm Atronach). Upon arrival, this massive creature will stun and damage nearby enemies giving you a much needed reprieve.
