In our previous article we previewed the upcoming Imperial City DLC. Today we will take a closer look at the new area, how to get Elder Scrolls Online items, weapons and Elder Scrolls Online armor. We will also check out the activities that players can do while in the city.
Getting in for Elder Scrolls Online weapons
The Imperial City DLC has a lot of content for players. It features new dungeons, filled with weapons, Elder Scrolls Online armor and items. Getting in however is no simple task. First, you will need to head to Cyrodiil and talk to the captain of your Alliance. They will then give you the quest to go to the Imperial City. Completion of this quest line is what will grant you access to the capital.
Once you have the quest, head to Lake Rumare in Cyrodiil. There will be three gates leading into the capital. Choose one and enter. You will then find yourself in the Imperial Sewers, in your Alliance’s base. Look for your faction’s general and turn in the quest you got from your captain. Lastly, have a word with the Drake of Blades to complete the quest line and gain access to the Imperial City.
Getting your Elder Scrolls Online weapons
When you have access to the city, you are free to engage in various activities that can get your Elder Scrolls Online armor, items and other gear. One of the more obvious ways is to get into a party and take on the White-Gold Tower or the Imperial City Prison dungeons. If you want powerful gear, then earn Daedric Trophies by killing monsters. This will allow you to open Treasure Vaults that contain Veteran Rank 16 gear.
Keeping your Elder Scrolls Online weapons and wits sharp
Since the Imperial City is in Cyrodiil, and is somewhat part of the Alliance War system, heading into it will battle-level your character. In fact, you can head to the city even if you are just level 10. Be warned however, the dungeons will not adjust your level. The monsters there can easily shred your Elder Scrolls Online armor. Another thing to watch out for is players from the other Alliances. While kills and the like in the capital do not affect the campaign, PvP is in full effect in the Imperial City.
