Today we will take a break from our zone guides to introduce Elder Scrolls Online players to the Werewolf of the North build. This build for Dragonknights takes the strength of the Werewolf skill line and the sturdiness of the Dragonknight class. Elder Scrolls Online account holders will easily solo dungeons and be a force to be reckoned with even with just one healer.

Dealing damage with your ESO Account

The Werewolf of the North build uses axes in both skill bars. For the primary skill bar however, TESO account holders will need to wield an axe and a shield. This is also the skill bar for utility and general survival.

The first skill on the bar is Puncture (Ransack). This skill is used to pull enemies away from your allies. It also improves damage mitigation through increased armor while increasing your damage by lowering the target’s armor.

Another skill put on the primary bar is Low Slash (Crippling Slash). This will generate Ultimate with each use while reducing the damage output of the target. The damage reduction works well with armor increasing skills new and veteran ESO account holders will use.

Going defensive on your ESO Account

To take advantage of the lowered attack damage of opponents Bone Shield is used in the build. Not only does it give your Dragonknight a large boost in armor, it also gives allies a damage shield. Note that as of writing, the original designer of the build has not picked a morph, but it is already incredibly useful.

For incredibly tough enemies, especially bosses, Spiked Armor (Razor Armor) is used. The improved armor is invaluable in shrugging off devastating attacks. The return damage is also very useful in maintaining aggro.

Skills for tight situations on your ESO Account

All the damage mitigation is important as the Werewolf of the North’s primary skill bar only has one restorative skill, Dragon Blood (Greed Dragon Blood). On the upside, it also improves stamina recovery not just for your character, but also for allies.

In tight situations your character can use Dragonknight Standard (Standard of Might). This is incredibly effective against groups of mobs, especially if they have surrounded you. It also reduces the damage you take further like the other skills on the bar.
