ESO account holders often have their ESO gold hunters face a lot of danger. Aside from their powerful Elder Scrolls Online weapons, the success of their battles depends on their Elder Scrolls Online armor. Thankfully, aside from passive skills, these Elder Scrolls Online items also have active abilities that can be used in a pinch.

Shielding for your ESO gold hunter

Elder Scrolls Online account holders wearing light armor are often the first ones to go if hit with high damage AoE attacks. Annulment is a skill in the light armor skill line that can be used to help prevent this. When this ability is used, it will place a point damage shield on the caster. While the shield holds, the caster will also receive half damage from spells.

The ability can be morphed into Dampen Magicka. This will increase the shield strength based on how many light armor pieces are on your Elder Scrolls Online gold hunter. Harness Magicka on the other hand will restore magicka based on how many light armor gear you have on.

Evading attacks on your ESO gold hunter

A little better than light armor is medium armor. This offers the flexibility and lightness of the previous armor grade, but with better damage mitigation. Often worn by Nightblades, the activated ability of this armor grade is quite apt. Named Evasion, it will increase the dodge chance of the character for a brief period.

The skill can be morphed into Shuffle to increase the duration of the buff. It will also remove one spare per piece of medium armor equipped. Morphing it into Elude will instead increase the dodge rate per medium armor gear worn.

Save ESO gold with tougher armor

Players who prefer wearing heavy armor can reap the benefits of the Immovable skill. When activated, it will increase the armor and spell resistance of the character for a few seconds. It also grants immunity to disabling effects, including knockback. When morphed into Immovable Brute, it increases the melee damage of the character per heavy armor gear worn. Unstoppable on the other hand will increase the duration the more heavy armor pieces are equipped.
