Spells in Elder Scrolls Online are not just for damage and healing ESO gold hunters. They are also useful for crowd control and deterring enemies on your Elder Scrolls Online account. The Sorcerer class has access to these utility spells through the Dark Magic skill line. We will cover the first three skills your Elder Scrolls Online gold hunter can get from this skill line.
Knockdown targets for ESO gold
Knocking down enemies with a Sorcerer on your ESO account can be done with the Crystal Shard skill. This deals magic damage to the enemy and knocks them down for a few seconds. Note however that the ability has a brief casting time.
Morphing the ability into Crystal Blast adds an AoE effect to the skill. Crystal Fragments is its other morph. When used in this form, it can be cast instantly.
Immobilize targets for ESO gold
Melee enemies with heavy Elder Scrolls Online armor and powerful Elder Scrolls Online weapons are a threat to any spell caster. Thankfully, Encase can delay their advance by immobilizing them temporarily. The skill can be further improved with the Restraining Prison morph that snares the target when the first effect ends. For a damaging morph however, use Shattering Prison. This will cause the skill to deal damage when the effect ends.
ESO gold hunting with Disorient
Another good crowd control ability to use while hunting Elder Scrolls Online items is Rune Prison. Enemies affected by this skill will be disoriented for a couple of seconds. Be sure you are far from enemies however as the skill has a slight casting time.
The ability can be morphed into Rune Cage. This will cause the ability to stun the target when the disorient effect ends. Alternatively, the skill can be morphed into Weakening Prison. When used this way, disoriented enemies will take more damage.
