Adventuring in the lands of Tamriel in Elder Scrolls Online is full of dangers. More often than not, your ESO gold run will end up with your Elder Scrolls Online gold hunter dead. Elder Scrolls Online account holders know however that this death is not permanent. This is all thanks to the Soul Magic skill line and Soul Gems.
Soul gems and your ESO gold hunter
ESO account holders have access to special Elder Scrolls Online items called Soul Gems. These gems have two uses. The first is to recharge enchantments on Elder Scrolls Online weapons and Elder Scrolls Online armor. The second is to revive characters. Depending on the level of the character, the Soul Gem used will vary. Note that Soul Gems can be bought from NPCs or looted in the game.
Soul Trap for your ESO gold hunter
The Soul Magic skill line is a special set of abilities associated with Soul Gems. The skills in this line are unlocked as the player goes through the Main quest. The sole active ability of the line is Soul Trap. This places a damage over time effect on a target when cast. More importantly, if the target dies while this effect is on it, its soul will be captured if the caster has a Soul Gem in their inventory.
The ability can be morphed into Soul Splitting Trap which allows it to fill multiple Soul Gems. Consume Soul on the other hand will restore health, magicka and stamina for the caster upon the target’s death.
Offensive Ultimate for more ESO gold
Like most skill lines, the Soul Magic skill line has an Ultimate ability. In this case, it is called Soul Strike. This ultimate snares the target and deals magic damage over time. It can be morphed into Soul Assault which increases the duration of the effect. Another morph is Shatter Soul. This will cause the target to explode for AoE damage if it is killed with the ultimate still in effect.
