Spells aren’t the sole domain of spell casters in Elder Scrolls Online. Any ESO gold hunter can harness the power of the elements if they can get their hands on a Destruction Staff. Once wielded, an Elder Scrolls Online gold hunter can then access skills from the associated skill line on their ESO account.
Staves, elements and ESO gold
All Elder Scrolls Online account holders can access the Destruction Staff skill line provided they wield one. It can be any of the three elements the staves come in, namely, Inferno, Lightning and Ice. Using the skills will then earn experience toward the skill line, regardless of the element of the staff.
Assorted effects for ESO gold hunting
The first ability of the skill line is Destructive Touch. For all types of staff, it will deal magic damage with the element associated with the staff. However, depending on the element, a specific crowd control effect will also be placed on the target. Fire Touch will cause knockback while Frost Touch will freeze the target. Shock Touch however will disorient the target.
The skill can be morphed into Destructive Clinch. This will make the fire element to knockback AND stun. Frost will have a deeper freeze and Shock will have a chance to get the target off balance. To add range to the skill Destructive Reach is the morph to pick.
Creating walls with your ESO gold hunter
Wall of Elements is the second ability in the Destruction Staff skill line. Using this ability will create an elemental wall. The wall will then deal magic damage to those near it. This is useful for delaying enemies with strong Elder Scrolls Online weapons if you have weak Elder Scrolls Online armor.
The ability can be morphed into Unstable Wall of Elements. Doing so will cause the wall to explode when its timer ends. Collectors of Elder Scrolls Online items can increase the size and duration of the wall by using the Elemental Blockade morph.
